We had crown pork roast for Christmas dinner. It looks very elegant, tastes great and is simple to cook.

I served it with mimosas. This was because I forgot to put the mimosas out for brunch. But the mimosa and pork are a surprisingly good pairing.

My best Christmas gift, probably ever, was given to me by my wife.
She was able to get her hands on a 40 year old port. It came in a cool wooden case. I love port. Especially aged port.

My wife also got me the 20 year old as she was not sure the 40 year old deal would work out. Gotta love her!

Hope you all had great meals, drinks and memories.
Phil

Ah, those Portuguese make fine Port! Biggrin
I was actually in the Douro Valley two years ago and had a chance to visit one of the port houses!
