In this video I show how easy (and pleasant) is to make lather with the new Simpson Chubby 2 synthetic badger shaving brush and also the new RazoRock XXX shaving soap.As you can see , making lather with the Simpson synthetic brush is very quick.

Thanks to my friend Dave (waveflow) for the new XXX shaving soap !

Great video Testie. Was the brush even wet when you started to load it?

* Yes, it was. You can see him shaking the water out before he starts loading. Observe, carefully, his right shoulder. Biggrin

Very nice video Teiste.
Mark said to me that this brush has the same backbone than a 2 band brush.
Do you have the same feeling ?
I like my Plisson synthetic brush but it has a lack of backbone for me.

I havent tried the Chubby 2 in 2 band , but I have tried it in best badger (2 of them) and super badger , and yes , I think that the synthethic have more backbone than those.

Very nice video! Very well made and if there ever was "music created specifically for shaving", you nailed it.

Will be interesting to see where synthetics come in price wise against the traditional badger brushes...

Good to know these are coming to market. The last thread I saw on these was a while ago and the pass-around testing was cancelled before it finished up.

That's a good looking brush and the lather looked great too.

How does the brush feel on your face Teiste? I like soft tips with good backbone. If it's got more backbone then my Chubby 2, in best and softer tips it will find a home in my den.
