Ben, that's a great collection of brushes. I have most of those brushes and they deliver a superb face lathering experience.

I must have been asleep when the RazoRock LE was for sale.

The BC Mistura is the cream of the crop. It seems softer at the tips and has a more yielding knot compared to all the others...

That is utterly glorious - I'm very jealous! The photographs that you take always leave me salivating.

I've given my Mistura (#34) two test lathers and it performed superbly. There was a hunt of scritch but, as with every Semogue I've owned, I expect that to subside while maintaining satisfying scrub. I have high hopes for this one! Finest badger a la SOC 2-band plus 90% tops has got to be a winner.

I have similarly high hopes for my Cerda - again #34.

I wonder how the composition of the knots differ beyond dimensions; e.g. the ratio of badger to boar, the hair grades used etc.

Awesome collection Ben!

We have two brushes in common, both are great:

2013 Barbear Classico Limited Edition
2012 The Shave Nook Limited Edition

I also love to hear your impressions on the Amici.
I emailed Joe, but I seem to have missed this one :-(

Interesting that they're all from 2012 or 2013. Seems like the mixed knots are enjoying something of a golden age.

Have a BC mistura and a SOC SE. Haven't tried the mistura yet, but the SOC SE is an amazing brush, and it will only get better.
