Im starting to get a good feel for which things work best for me & also what I enjoy the most. Being a Traditional Shaver for just under a year I've built a Nook that makes me excited to get up in the morning & to start it off with a shave. Traditional shaving has been enlightening to me & given me this eureka or a-ha moment. So many people are not near as courteous & kind as I think we were a decade or so ago. Now when I run into someone being less than kind my first thought is that they probably started their day off with a horrible shave while my day started sublimely. So with that in mind here is my kit which helps me to stay in a servant mentality & to give others the benefit of the doubt since they didn't experience a great start to the day like I do.

The brushes:

The soaps:

The creams:

The razors...
Micromatics: can you tell I love the OCMM?

Injectors:

The only DEs I use... Sledgehammer Slant & Slim:

The aftershaves: to be added later, picture needed

Thank you! I'm sure you recognize that I'm still using quite a bit from that soap/cream lot I got from you.

I recognize a few goodies in several of those pictures. Smile

Very nice collection! I see I am not the only one getting "back up" hardware.
What soap do you have in the Old Spice mug?

Enjoy your shaves!

I wouldn't call myself a fan. I just couldn't pass up any when they were on clearance for $0.59 each.

Great question & one that I'll answer vaguely for now. That soap is my first vintage soap that I won from a PIF that MrGuy did similar to the one he's running here now. I will say that it's an excellent performer!

Nice!

Yet another nook that would have me taking longer to choose than it would to shave! That's a nice option to have.

But don't you need a few razors? Biggrin

Yes, the razors & aftershaves are next to be photographed & inventoried. The latter should be pretty simple, the former not so much.

Updated OP with pictures of most of my razors. I didn't include the few other DEs that I have that see no use.

Yes it is! De Vergulde Hand is one of my favorite soaps & I'm blessed to have so much of it. In the picture I have a tablet of the dVH Extra fris in their plastic lathering bowl, a tablet of regular dVH opened, and 2 unopened tablets of Extra fris. One of the Extra fris tablets has been sent to a friend now. I also have 2 dVH sticks of the current formulation, & 1 of an old formulation. Throw in a tube of the dVH cream & aftershave balm & even their alum block & I have almost the entire range. I even have 2 different dVH boar brushes. As I said, I'm blessed. It's a great product range all around.

Nice nook. Does your wife know you have appropriated her quilt as a picture backdrop.
