This morning I've been watching an old 1936 movie on cable called "Bullets and Ballots". In one scene it shows a very young Humphrey Bogart driving a beautiful (looks like a brand new car) Packard Coupe. Holy smoke, that's something special. For sure, they don't make them like that anymore.

One of my favorite things to do late at night after everyone has gone to bed. Set up and watch old B&W movies. I love the old cars, the way they dressed, and the quality of the films back then.

Bullets and Ballots also has a lot of 1936 Buicks in it. The police in the film drive some of the Buicks. Product placement.

I don't know about product placement, but those old Buicks were ideal police cars, I bet! If you can remember the old TV Series Highway Patrol, that's what the main character drove, a 1955 Buick!

Love watching black and films. Those vintage cars are awesome. My grandfather was chauffeur during the 20's thru 40's, he drove Packards and Pierce Arrows.
