A beautiful razor, Jamie. Love the colour scales. You have given me a pleasant surprise as I didn't believe customs were your thing.

Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Bath Soap
Soap: Los Angeles Shaving Soap-Topanga Fougère
Razor: ’66 Gillette Slim “6”
Blade: Perma-Sharp Super (1)
Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip
Aftershave: Krampert’s Frostbite

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)

I tried the LASS Topanga Fougère sample today that I got from Maggard Razors. It quickly produced a very easy and thick lather. The scent is flat out awesome! The LASS, Slim, and Perm-Sharp delivered a great shave. I finished up with Krampert’s Frostbite.

Hot shower followed by two hot towels and a facial massage
#6 Horsehair
Dovo Bismarck 5/8
Ogallala Bay Rum SS
Balea Unscented Moisturizer
Thayers Witch Hazel
Pinaud Bay Rum AS

Today I was in a bay rum mood so I re-visited the Ogallala Bay Rum soap which I received from a good friend last year. It has pretty good lather - not the richest, but still very acceptable. It also has a great scent and adequate skincare. The Thayers witch hazel is awesome stuff - very soothing and refreshing and the Pinaud Bay Rum burns like hell for two seconds, but then it feels fantastic. Two thumbs up for today's shave!
