Before Christmas I purchased some RazoRock

"Christmas in Tuscany"

and

"ABCBA"

Both were supplied as a brick form and in a box.

After a trip to Ikea for some Grundal tins.
Lifting off the magnets from the rear of the tins with a flathead screwdriver.
Some nail polish remover on the remaining glue.
Wash and dry.
Then gently peeled off sticker from the RazoRock box.
Finally trim corners with a used Feather Pro SE blade!

May I present...

My RazoRock repackaged...

One brick filled two tins.

Perfect!

Very nicely done, Ben Biggrin I wish a spare round sticker had been included inside of my ABCBA box to be used for this very reason.

The ABCBA soap is some of the best stuff to come out of RazoRock since Joe first introduced the artisan line.

That's a great idea, you should pass on that feedback to Joseph (ItalianBarber).

Very nice job. I can't get enough of the Christmas in Tuscany scent. If I had that beautiful container sitting out, I couldn't contain my sniffing addiction.

The sticker on the box peels off easily enough and mine had more than enough stick left for reapplication...

Excellent job, and it looks great.

I just thought I would mention that the color is coming from the fragrance oil used to make it. Scents that contain vanilla discoloration to different shades of tan to almost black depending on how much vanilla is in the scent. Other scents with no vanilla have been known to discolor as well. While other essential oils and fragrance oils can discoloration from yellow to pinks as well. I just thought I would share this bit of information.

Very nice, Ben.

It's interesting how many of these soaps, despite EO and FO related coloration, produce a white lather ...

In my experience when the color has changed because of the FO or EO added the lather will be white.

If the soap is colored by other means the lather is usually white. I say usually because there are cases when the lather is colored, or at least tinted. Oxides can often do this especially black if too much is used. But it's not really too much in the sense of an overdose but it's a fine line between black colored soap and a grey bar of soap.

It's not a bad thing, it is just what it is and is just cosmetic. There are ways to help with vanilla discoloration, but it's a chemical additive that is harmless. But you know how obsessive some people are about chemicals. This is not the place to argue that I was just mentioning it. So many commercial made products that are white but contain vanilla or would otherwise normally discoloration contain that magical ingredient.

Looks great, Ben!

The soap's colour looks very similar to the Mystic Water Sardinian Honey. Biggrin
