I recently won a PIF by Dave (waveflow) for this MW soap and a couple packs of Gillette Silver Blue blades, which I wasn't expecting at all. Thank you Dave!

I was prepared to do battle with this infamously hard to lather soap. I let hot water soak on it for a couple minutes before taking a dry Black Fibre brush to both the water and soap. It really wasn't a battle at all as I generated a dense cream pretty easily. I did this twice via palm lathers. It was going so well that I decided to try a face lather. Once again, nice lather formation. I was letting it sit on my face to test its stability when that telltale tingle began to develop. I rinsed the lather off and tried again. Then the dreaded tingle came on even quicker.

So while I feel like the war I was prepared to fight ended prematurely by easily generating lather, I got outflanked by the dreaded skin irritation Calvary. I am therefore going to pass on everything that Dave sent me (see picture above) to the next person that is not only willing to fight this enemy, but is also well prepared for this LatherBattle.

To enter the PIF you must do the following...
1. Post your battle cry
2. Post a picture of your weapon(s) that you plan to bring with you into battle.

Entrants may stake their claim from now until 1500 CST on January 19, 2014. At this time the battlefield will close and the festivities shall begin. As we all know, there can be only one.

Since I'm making Highlander references I feel it's only appropriate to offer this PIF worldwide. I do ask that international members understand that if you win then I will be shipping this as cheaply as possible and will not include any costly tracking or verification services. Hey, what do you expect, it's free! Biggrin Winner to be chosen by me via any means I choose (currently leaning toward eeny-meeny-miney-moe).

So, which of you fine entrants is Chuck enough to win? I look forward to meeting the LatherBattle victor and sending his or her spoils to their next destination.

I'm not in for obvious reasons, but very nice gesture in terms of moving the PIF onwards!

Brian, great to hear you were able to achieve creamy lather with the soap! It is very unfortunate that you weren't able to use it, though!
Great PIF! Biggrin

I love the re-inaction of Battle of the Bulge in Band of Brothers. This is one of the best series I've ever seen.
