I am sure this has been brought up before but I cannot find any threads. Who could coat a stainless steel razor? I am thinking of a DLC like finish but something that holds up better. I have seen pictures of the bottom plate losing the coating where the handle attaches on the DLC Weber heads.

I would think powder coating is the best but not sure if its compatible with stainless steel.

I have Iron Ridge Gunsmiths doing my Weber Bulldog handle for $45 in Cerakote Graphite Black --- they said a lot of police officers have their guns done in Cerakote due to how well it hold up against scratching, dings, etc.

Iron Ridge being in Longmont, Colorado

The gentleman charges $60 for the whole razor and he did it in one-weeks time.
