If those two get to the super bowl it should be a good game. Depending on how crappy the weather is in NY that time of year, it could really mess with the passing game. In that case I would give the edge to Seattle. But I do like Payton and would like to see him win one more super bowl before he retires.

As a Pats fan, I would like a Pats vs. 49ers because the Niners scare me much less than Seattle (and that's saying something considering how terrifying SF is). If I were to bet though, I'd go Denver vs. Seattle. And I'd be happy to see Denver's offense get obliterated by that historic Seattle pass D.

No matter what happens tomorrow I've already come to grips with it. Of course we'll see how I'm doing around 5:45PM eastern time.

I think you guys may be giving Seattle too much credit. We tend to choke in the big games. I would guess the Super Bowl will feature New England and San Francisco.

I just want Seattle to win because they deserve it with their incredible defense and they're the only team of the 4 to not win a Championship.

Looking for Denver and SF, should be good games.

I like Manning, and Harbaugh was an ex Bear, he's a good coach.

I don't like any team with fluorescant uniforms. It just ain't right. Having said that... Denver and SF. It's hard not to pick Manning for the win.

Niners & New England

I have been stressing about the Niners game all week, and am so happy it's Sunday. Seattle is so tough at home, I'm hoping the Niners have a shot in the 4th.

Excited for a great day of football!

Well we (Pats) were clearly the lesser team today. As much as I respect the Broncos, I really hope they get the crud kicked out of them.

Seattle does their one best thing (defending the pass) better, much, much better, than any other team (including the Pats who were already eliminated) does their best thing. In fact, according advanced metrics, they could have had the best pass defense ever this year. They have guys the size of linebackers in the secondary.

I'm currently watching the Seattle/49ers game and it seems to me that Carroll's game management is an issue however. They keep shooting themselves in the foot in the red zone.

While Seattle has been my home for a long time, and I have suffered through the ups and downs being a fan of the Seahawks (and the Mariners, fool that I am), I have to admit that come Super Sunday, I'll have mixed feelings. Part of me wants to cheer for the old man, PM.
