I just purchased a weber bulldog handle and am interested in getting a razor head to match with it. I am already expecting an ej de89l so would ideally like to match this handle with something equally as good if not better. I'd like something to give me some variety between my razors. I hear the Muhle r98 is a bit more aggressive, Any one have any other suggestions?

Fatip and Joris and some Parkers will not fit domestic (Weber )handles...they are a bit larger in diameter (M5 X 8)...talking about drill hole in handle...

I have a Premax and it fit my Bulldog perfectly. It's hit or miss.

The Weber Polished Head would be a good choice. They are great shavers and slightly more aggressive than the EJ head IMO.

It is more aggressive by a bit for sure, just as smooth of a shaver. I love the head.

If you meant r89, it's the EXACT same head as on the de89. I'm not sure if you mean matching as in visually or just heads you can use on the weber but if it's the ladder, there are many. My gillette NEW long comb head works on the de89 as does my gillette tech head. I'd think a good majority of the 3 piece designs work with it.

Slap an Open Comb Merkur on that Bulldog. Its the same as the phased out R41 and shaves super nice no matter how long your beard is.

Interesting suggestions, thank you fellas. What are your thoughts on slants with this handle? like I said I'm looking for a bit of variety and a little bite. I already have a Razorock tto and a ej de89l so I'm interested in rounding out my collection with a little bit of everything.

Maybe get the complete Weber razor and pick up a 2013 R41 and a (triangular baseplate cut-out "pre-war") Gillette Tech. That would give you a nice spectrum of heads to work with.

I personally like the 2011 R41 more but the 2013 version seems to suit more people.

Very soon Muhle will be offering heads only for sale. This is a great alternative from buying a complete razor.
