This is one of my favorite artisan brushes. Horn/Clear/Cocobolo Wood with 24mm WSP High Mountian White knot. The WSP HMW is beyond exquisite! I have a one-off Anderson/Shavemac on the way with a D01 2-Band knot. It may edge this one back in the rotation.

Considering grabbing a TGN HMW. Wondering how they compare with the WSP for the price bracket…

A very fine , good looking brush.

For what I understand WSP and TGN HMW are very different.WSP is like the old HMW Plisson one , and the TGN is like more the HMW that New Forest have used on one of its brushes.I have tried each one of them but the TGN HMW , but I trust the guy who gave me that info about being the same than this New forest High Mountain brush. While the New Forest HMW is a nice hair , the WSP its simply superior , almost like the old Plisson HMW hair.

The WSP HMW is great. I enjoy mine every time it comes up in the rotation.
