I saw this today and thought it was a great, simplistic idea. In fact I am surprised I haven't seen this before. Muhle Safety Razor Blade Guard
[Image: VU7hnGG.jpg]

It seems like a great idea for travel or just to keep a sharp blade from being exposed!

That is quite an interesting idea. However, I don't see it being used for traveling as I don't think anyone leaves blades in their razors while traveling.
I can, also, see it being used as a prevention in case you have kids in the house.

Great idea for kids. Even though I put my razor in a plastic razor container for travel, I would likely use it for travel just to prevent the nice chrome cap and base plate from getting scratched. Anyway, for the low price of $1.00, it is inexpensive protection.

Yeah, TSA would get in a hissy fit if you put the razor in the carry-on.

Don't always travel with a checked bag myself.

This is useful just protecting your razor head when not in use not just for travel. I like it but Muhle has not announced the price. Also Muhle will shortly sell razor heads only which is a long over due idea.
