Just not soft enough for me. Not a shedder or anything. Used 5-6 times and a few more test lathers. I would consider trades for other brushes or vintage tallow soaps like Trumpers or Pen's...
Really I prefer to just sell $80 shipped. This brush takes almost a month to show up if you buy from across the pond and this is cheaper than new and it is in basically new condition. I consider this a good deal on a supurb brush, this just not fit my taste.
Thanks for lookingSmile

This is a great scrubby brush. I am noticing the tips softening after just a few uses. Good luck with the sale Kris. If you're really looking for a soft brush you need to try one of the Muhle synthetic fibre brushes.

Just check the brush forum here. There's a thread on the silvertip fibres & one on the black fibres. Teiste did a great job reviewing them. Sorry I don't link you but that's hard on my phone.

Are these sold out or still available new?

EDIT: Nevermind, VintageScent has some in stock. I thought Badger version of SOC was a one-off deal. GLWS.

Mine became definitely softer after ~20 days of use. It is now very soft, I do not consider it to be scrubby at all, now. Give it some time.
But if you are determined to sell it, good luck with the sale, then! Cool

+1. Although it is all badger, for whatever reason it took a while for mine to soften up.

Did it really get softer or did the user get used to it? I found that badger hair doesn't really break in much, but that could be just the experience I had with the brushes I tried.

I found this one went from scritchy to scrubby much quicker than the '12 LE. Both fantastic brushes, I prefer the SOC badger just because of the gorgeous wood.

I have to agree with this. The LE2011 is gorgeous in its own way, but in my scale of values, a good natural material, like wood or horn, will always rank higher that resins and so.

When I bought my SOC, it was too stiff on the border of being prickly. It softened and now is one of my favourite 2-banders. Besides the handles difference, I don't distinguish its performance from my LE2.

Great price on a 2 band brush. If someone is looking to try a 2 band without paying a ton of cash this is the deal for them.
