My father’s oyster perpetual datejust. He bought it 2005.
A classic. Hardly wore it. I hadn’t even seen him wear it. No scratch.

But ... I seriously dislike bicolor watches and watches with too much bling. Not my cup of tea.

I think it will have to wait for my son.

Bi color seems to be the trend in watches though.

But I agree, not my cup of tea also.
My first Seiko was a bicolor, hard to believe now.

I have a 14c gold and stainless steel Omega Constellation dating from 1999, somewhat similar to the Rolex above, which I rather like. I’ve looked st the same watch in all gold and all stainless steel and both look rather pedestrian. But, as we’re fond of saying, YMMV.
