Well colour me Vulfix!

These coloured brushes look stunning!

Is this a recent development for Vulfix?

Or have I simply been too absorbed with all the Simpson Limited Editions to notice?

Anyone own one?

I like the gold/brown.

Apparently they are still being sold, but their popularity means they are regularly out of stock. I haven't seen them available direct from Vulfix, perhaps Mark can enlighten us further...

I wish the Vulfix London series in boar were back on sale. I'd buy one of each. Really good, soft tips when broken in.

They have been around for years... I also remember seeing them back in 2009 or so.

The Faux horn is lovely... I bought a boar 2234h once. It made a wonderful reknot. Smile

Those are the color versions of the 2234. I used to own the ivory 2234 in Vulfix Silvertip (= Simpson Super). I decided I prefer the larger 2235 and 2236 in Silvertip. I've only seen the 2234 color handles in Vulfix Super (= Simpson Best). Vulfix brushes are not as dense as Simpson. The 2234 is a soft brush with little backbone. Some may characterize it as floppy. I use the term floppy in a descriptive, not judgmental sense. A floppy brush is not inferior, and a brush with great backbone is not superior. It's all a matter of personal preference. The 2234 is like a luxurious soft pillow on your face.

Yes, really nice brushes. I do have a Vulfix 2234 Faux Horn in Silvertip too. This brush has a decent size and is nice to hold.
Though it is Silvertip, the highest quality grade from Vulfix, my 2235 in Super Badger has little bit softer tips. The 2235 is a dream, I love it most. My Simpsons CH1 Super comes right second.
