I know this has probably been brought up before, but this brush does fit the travel tube correct? I am looking for a Simpsons travel brush to carry along to my month Guard drills. Seeing as how I love my Commodore X2 in best I figure I will give the Case a shot. Any opinions on how fast it dries, etc?

That is my travel brush and it is great for face lathering creams or soaps. Mine is usually dry in half a day and fully dried within 24 hours.

Thanks for the info Tim and Johnny. I think I am about to order one. I am spoiled by this X2 in best. It feels much more soften than the hair in my Simpsons TSN brush, so hopefully the Case hair is just like it. If not I can always trade or sell it.

It takes a little bit to break the Case in, but once broken in, it is a great little brush. Mine really came into its own after about 20 shaves.

Classic 1, might have to give it a look as well.

I have tried the Wee Scott, but it was just way to small for me.

I also like the Classic 1 but the expense is more. Plus it is denser than the Case, dries slower.

Hmm, I wonder which one would be more like the Commodore X2?

I'd say the Case.

The Classic would be more like a Chubby.

(In relation to density).

Notice that the Classic has the shorter handle but taller loft and larger knot. Size wise the Classic would probably come closer to your Commodore X2.

I am talking about loft, but Ben is right about the density.

In terms of knot size, Johnny is likely correct. (My reference above was in relation to knot density).

See here for a pic that includes (among others) the Case, Classic and Commodore...

Holy cow at all the Simpsons in the picture you linked Ben. I am placing an order for the Case and will see how it works out. One thing is for sure, I am looking forward to trying other Simpsons and seeing if they can compete with the X2
