This razor will be out in the market soon , and with other gentlemen , I had the pleasure to test it.

I only have shaved once so far with it (this morning , actually) and its like what I like in razors : great grip , balance and smooth shave due to its close comb head , which is like the ones used by Muhle and Edwin Jagger in their closed comb razors.

The knurling is quiet deep and allows a very easy and comfortable grip , so this is not the kind of razor it will slip your wet hands while shaving.

It has an excellent finish and its very shiny , like some of the Edwin Jagger or Muhle razors I own.I truly like the WSP engraving on the handle's base , as you can see on the pic.

The handle is long , about 9 cm , which will allow people with big hands to hold it with no difficulty at all.

The shave was very smooth this morning , but , as I said , the closed comb head its like the ones used by Edwin Jagger or Muhle on their razors. You can see on the previous pic compared with an Edwin Jagger "Barley" (on the left) , how identical are the closed comb heads.

Its weight is 2.9 oz , or 81 grams , which makes it vey well balance for its length.

I know how Lee is always worried about bringing good , quality and valuable items to the WSP catalog and I feel that this razor its going to be another hit.Ill be using it more and post my impressions of it soon.So far , so good , but I have been testing several razors lately and I have been very happy with them.Lucky me !

Beautiful looking razor Teiste. Lee's products are A+ so I am certain the razor will be one as well.

Thanks for sharing! That handle looks like it balances the razor perfectly, and certainly adds to the aesthetics.

I love my EJ89, but found it performed much better with a heavier handle. Looks like Lee solved that problem Biggrin

Very nice looking razor. Any target retail price? Or is it to early for that? Seems to be a lot of new razors on the market. Some simply re-brands but others new design. Certainly offers the shaving public some interesting choices.

The engraved handle is a nice touch and the finish looks very nice. And if it shaves like the DE89 head so much the better as that is one of the recognized classics of the industry.
