Just out of curiosity, what are the differences among the green, blue, and black bowl Wilkinson shaving soaps? TIA.

I've tried the blue and the green. I believe some of the difference is in the scent. As in all things shaving, YMMV, but I think they are all to be avoided. They work, but leave a lot to be desired. Too many other great soaps out there

Although I haven't tried the black version, so maybe it is better

Do you mean the stick is one of the best shaving soaps out there? That's shocking considering how bad the bowls are

I have the blue and find it to be just okay. There are better soaps and creams out there.

Nick, the stick is totally different than the bowl.
The bowl is a veggie/glycerin based soap, and a poor one.
As for the stick, it is tallow based, contains lanolin and is outstanding - for me, comparable to other fine shaving sticks, like Valobra or La Toja.

+1 I had a hard time giving away the bowls but the sticks are great.
