My sole Tulip is also a Rudy Vey creation. The knot is a 32mm Shavemac Finest, which I am very, very fond of.

The Tulip handle is one of the two most comfortable handles I own (the other is an AS3M copy, also by Rudy).

Beautiful tulips cessnabirdHeart! How do you like the performance of that Somerset T2 two band knot?

I love that brush. Firm backbone with excellent flow-thru and a good scrub!

Thank-you Celestino! I have quite a collection of Yixing teapots and this particular one is possibly my favourite...

Absolutely gorgeous. That Simpson 2-band knot is what I had on my Polo 8 Super. Just a terrific, delicious knot.

One of the most comfortable handle styles by Simpson IMO, those lucky to own 2 band versions have a special brush- one of the best shapes coupled with a great hair grade for facelathering.

I certainly like my Tulip 2 in 2-band. Very comfortable!

New tulip incoming! These are preview pics from shaverjoe, an artisan on b&b, who has a nice design aesthetic and custom pours his own blanks in any requested combination. I wanted a hybrid between a tulip and an original design he calls 'bubblegum machine' for the bottom of the handle. I also wanted a Seattle Seahawks theme and sent him a Seahawks ball marker to stick on the bottom. Behold the final product, with some pearlescent silver swirling in the blue portion which is apparently better appreciated in hand.

Although I love the original Somerset tulip design, the shape can be modified to produce some cool brushes. Highly recommended, two thumbs up!

And yes, go Hawks! Gonna have to reserve this brush for Sundays once the regular season rolls around.

Oh, forget to mention TGN finest 24 mm fan. I'm excited as I've never tried a TGN knot before, and I'm a huge fan of two band brushes (Simpson, Rooney, and shavemac).

Which tulip size would be a good all rounder to start with?
