So I had my third DE shave this morning and I cant believe how good I am doing. The last two times I did two WTG passes and called it done. This morning I went two WTG, one XTG on my face and one ATG on my neck without any issues. Not a BBS yet but a DFS definitely. I even ordered a Muhle R89 and a bunch of TOBS and Thumpers sample creams this morning.I have been using a Merkur 23C and green prorosa cream. I also ordered this past weekend two brushes from Whipped Dog and a G12 Scuttle from Georgetown Pottery. I have got it BAD......

Sonny, it only gets better. And you have just made a small down payment on having it "bad"........

Keep it up Sonny! The Merkur 23c was one of my first razors as well and it can easily get to BBS without tearing up your face. I still use it on occasion but prefer the 34c and 37c because they are a little shorter and heavier.

Are we having fun yet??? I used to hate to shave... most times I didn't just wore a scruffy ole beard, shave once and let it grow again..
Now I enjoy ever shave, trying new products, love looking for vintage razors and vintage barber bottles, talking with like minded shavers...It's a wonderful life!!
