I just got my latest jars from Specialty Bottle. I got the larger 8 oz size this time. They are the perfect size for holding full-size large pucks: 3.5”(opening)x1.75”(deep). They cost me $2.00 each delivered.

Here are some photos so you can compare them relative to others you know.

Now that's a good looking solution!

What are they made from?

Here you go: http://www.specialtybottle.com/bluepethe...melid.aspx

LA Shaving Soaps is using the 4 oz size for their soaps. I wish they used these....and waterproof labels.

Thanks for the pictures, Bob. Very helpful!

Do the inside walls drop straight down, then angle toward the inside at (or near) 90°, or is there more of a curve?

ETA: Nevermind, I think I found my answer by looking at the clear version: http://www.specialtybottle.com/clearpeth...melid.aspx

Pat-They are straight walled. The opening is slightly narrower.

Thanks for the link, Bob. I like these better than what I use from the container store.

Bob-The scent is very nice and this one is heavy with menthol. I don't know if it will make it to the line up or not. This is a test puck. Great shave though.

Hey Coyote question. You show a picture with a sample of Stirling. Will the jar hold a full size puck?

This is what I prefer to use; 4oz Food Saver containers I picked up from The Container Store for $1.50 each.

I love the size of them and they work well as travel containers. I prefer small amounts of soaps (2 oz is ideal for me) and this amount takes me a long time to use up. Here is a pick of one with about 50gr of Panna Crema Namaste (roughly half of a block from the original cube shipments when they were first released to the market).

Here is a picture of the container compared to Cella (Red Tub) and RazoRock Classic:

I prefer tins over plastic (purely subjective I admit)

I usually order a few extra whenever I make a stirling order.
