Hello everyone,
My name is Carlos and I am from California, I am two shaves into wet shaving. So far so good, I was givin a Gillette Aristocrat razor and since have purchased a badger brush, D.R. Harris Windsor soap and I am off and running oh I forgot,I bought 4 sample packs of blades.I am interested in trying the feather blades but was too afraid to get them when I bought the others. I think that these shaving forums are really great, I gathered a ton of info before I started this venture with great success. Thank you for your help.

Welcome to the forum! I would hold off on the Feathers, consider buying one blade and sticking with it works for you.

Any of the Gillettes are a good choice, Silver Blues would be my recommendation.

Greetings from The East Coast from a fellow newb. Find that blade that is just right, after a little while you can experiment if you would like.

Welcome to The Shave Nook. Good advise above. Stay away from the Feather blades until you have mastered the razor and your technique. They are extremely sharp and unforgiving.

Welcome to TSN, Carlos.
Buy those Feather blades. I learned with the Feather and they are not as fearsome as you may believe. If anything, the very fact that they are so sharp teaches you good technique very quickly.
