Hungary makes a few excellent creams, and this is one of them:
Ease of lathering: 10/10--A dab of cream on both cheeks explodes to rich lather!
Longevity of lather: 10/10--Stable as you want. Do 10 passes if needed.
General skincare: 8/10--Very moisturizing. Leaves the skin feeling clean and smooth. Has an antiseptic-like effect.
Scent: 9/10--Very green and springlike.
Price: 10/10--Cheap in Hungary. Reasonably-priced in the Balkans.
Would I buy again: 10/10--Ohhhhh yes. This cream is brilliant.
This is the company where the cream is made. I highly recommend it!

I recently bought a tub of this cream, during a trip in Budapest. The tub was extremely inexpensive: about 350 Hungarian forints (nearly €1,25). I also bought some Barbon aftershave.
Well, I have to agree with Jeff: this cream is quite a nice surprise. Few creams deliver so much for so little. The scent is awesome, something like a woodier/"herbier" version of Musgo, and the performance is excellent. A great addition to my shave den!

This is hands down my favorite cream in a tube! The scent is unobtrusive and it takes very little product to produce mounds of protective lather. I'd say even though the tube is considerably smaller it will last as long as my much larger tube of Proraso Sandalwood. I find it more protective and just as moisturizing as the Proraso as well. I put my Bulgarian creams ahead of the Proraso as well but just short of Barbon.
I love Trumpers Violet too but that's more for scent and shave quality as it lacks the moisturizing aspect of these others.
YMMV of course

The cream is extremely inexpensive, less than €1,5 each tube
Thanks! I'll be keeping an eye out. I'm sure I'll find one with 5 days to explore the city.
