What do you think your next purchase(s) will be?
For me it'll probably be a couple sticks of Speick shaving soap. I don't think you can buy samples of it, and if I can't find anything else to get instead of it I'll probably go ahead and take a gamble on it.

If I end up getting some, I'll grate it into a bowl and use it as a puck.

Me too. IB will be getting an order from me for at least 1, if not 2, of each of the new La Famiglia line of soaps along with a jar of Tabac.

Dittos the no gamble on Speick. The only negative for me is the semi-strong scent, but it's a good scent. I use it grated and I like it that way. Add a teaspoon or 2 of water, no more, to help glue it together tightly and compress it. Then give it a few days without a lid to dry out. You'll love the stuff.
Well, I don't know if you'd call it a purchase, but presently I have 2 lather catchers out for plating and if the gent does a good job on those, I plan to send out a Gillette 3 pin Old for another replate. A friend is also sending me a Semogue handle and I plan to reknot it, so I'll be buying a boar knot. That's what's in the pipeline.

Well... no big expenditures on the immediate horizon. I shouldn't even say that, it's like jynx'n yourself. I know I need another bottle of Nivea and one of Clubman. I'm also hoping to zero in on an undetermined bottle of Bay Rum that I could like long term. I'm also looking at Simpson's apothecary type mugs. I'm so weak!

This made me laugh. I hope after you shave with an OCMM you'll laugh too when you reread this. The OCMM will cast a large shadow over those other razors.

Maybe a third DR Harris soap. Since I already have Arlington and Lavender in the wood bowls I'm trying to decide between Almond or Marborough in stick or refill puck. I've got a couple of years worth of soaps/creams already, so I'm in no hurry to decide. Can't order too much in May. Have to save some things for Father's Day.

Thanks to the generosity of two of the fine fellows here, I won't have to worry about new soaps or aftershave for a while - so my fun-fund has been freed up to buy a Vie-Long badger/horse combo brush
After that... oh, I dunno. Another razor perhaps - got my eye on the Merkur 25C as well as some weird and wonderful cheapies I spotted in a Turkish webshop...
