I just received this Saturday. The date codes are D 2. Other than that can anyone identify this razor for me. I think it might be a TV razor.

The pattern on the handle looks like the 1958 TV to me. In fact, it matches my 1958 TV.

US Flare Tip TV Superspeed (not a Rocket, which was British, plus there would be no widening gap when the silo doors open/close). Knurling indicates it is a TV: no horizontal stripes. The lower end of the handle is also the clincher. See the extra thin band at the top of the 'flare'

Thanks everyone. I cleaned it and used it once with a Gillette Silver Blue. It was a good shave, very mild but smooth.

It is a '58 TV. I have one and it gives nice, comfortable shaves. The "aggressiveness" is perfect for my face.
