Did you get your special someone something special?

The hubby gave me mine last night, *cough*cough* since he bought it last night when he was alone taking our son to taekwondo class. But one of my gifts was a heated mattress pad, silly I know but that was the best gift ever!!!! Seriously, much better than a fancy meal out without kids or a box of chocolates. I think the heat helps my muscles and joints, like a hot bath does... but at least I woke up this morning without feeling like I was hit with a mac truck in the night. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it keeps helping for future mornings....

Hope you and your special someone have a wonderful day.....

The standard card and flowers. After all she has me, what more could she want. Biggrin

I got my wife a bunch of different flavors of rice cakes. Sounds dumb I know, but they're just about her favorite food in the world. Plus we set a very low spending limit for each other this year, and she got me crackers and cheese. Tongue

I gave my wife an email confirmation I had received from an Oregon ocean cliff-side lodge saying that we have the best cabin, the one on whose porch we were married years ago, reserved for our anniversary this summer.

I shaved. Took a steam bath. Plowed snow. Smoked a cigar. Had a pint of Guiness.

Then got married to the dear lady I've lived with for the past 25 yrs. We wanted to make sure the relationship was going to work out! Can't be to hasty ya know.

BTW: she and I did all of the afore mentioned together, 'cept the cigar and shave.

I gave SWMBO a bouquet of her favourite flowers, white hydrangeas and white roses. She gave me a box of my favourite chocolates, Purdy's mini hedgehogs...yes, they do look like tiny hedgehogs.
