I understand Edwin Jagger is introducing some new razor handles (same head). They look fairly promising. Its suppose to be released in March. These are complete razors not handles only.

Check them out here

Very nice offerings. Smart offering these new models. That solves about the only knock you hear about the EJ razors which is them being to slippery. I especially like the 3D Laser Diamond model. Any info yet on pricing?

I could see how this could be a disappointment to some but not to me. The Edwin Jagger razors are my favorite and these handle changes are enough to get me excited.

I use my EJ89 lined almost exclusively and have yet to have a problem with it being slippery. Granted I make sure I have no soap on my hands; so perhaps that is the secret. Having said that, the Laser Diamond does look very nice!

I don't find them slippery anyway. If I did, a dab of alum on the fingers... and end of problem.

I'll get excited when they offer a new head. I don't care for the EJ head. The handle doesn't bother me at all.

To each his own.

Love the look of this handle -- but it comes at a premium to the other members of the family: more than $20 vs. the smooth, $15-20 vs. the lined, low teens vs. the barley. I wonder if the function warrants it, as well as the look.
