I mostly use straights now, but I do still have a few DE and SE razors that I use for touch-ups or just for a change, on occasion.

Here are pics of most of my DE razors. Some are missing (I'll have to go look for them), and I've not included the cases here.

The Gillettes:

all together:

and in two small groups:

(L-R: Brit #77, NEW Deluxe Belmont, New Improved Big Fellow, NEW Deluxe head on CCB handle, Toggle)

The Non-Gillettes:

(Left, top to bottom: Eclipse Red Ring, Fasan Slant, Barbasol, vintage Progress converted by CCB; Right, top - iKon OC, bottom - Apollo)

Nice Yohann! How does your Apollo shave? I have a similar model and need to spend some more time with it. And oh yes, I love that CCB micarta handle!! Cool

Very Nice! How aggresive do you find the Barbasol to be?

Yes, the CCB micarta handle is a thing of beauty, as you'd see if you ever got your hands on it. Biggrin

The Apollo is an excellent shaver. Lovely weight, and just enough blade exposure for me. One of my favourites! If you have one, you need to give it a go.

The Barbasol is pretty aggressive - probably the most aggressive non-adjustable razor I've used that's still comfortable for me. I have used a 2011 Muhle R41, but that was not a comfortable razor.

I have a thick growth, and thick individual hairs, and the way the R41 holds the blade flat just didn't work out for me. The blade flexed too much for comfort. The Barbasol has about the same blade exposure, but it curves the blade more, making it stiffer in use, and more comfortable.
