Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Bath Soap
Soap: Proraso Blue Cream
Razor: Gillette Red Tip Super Speed
Blade: Gillette 7 O’Clock Black Super Platinum
Brush: Plisson Lucite Pure Badger 22mmx52mm
Aftershave: Shulton Old Spice
WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)
This was my first shave using the Plisson Pure Badger brush (acquired at the Austin Meet!-thanks slr31). I pulled out my Red Tip for a change of pace and loaded up a 7 O’Clock Black. I went with the Proraso Blue Cream for my soap. I was very pleasantly surprised with the Plisson brush. I expected a lot of scritch similiar to my Omega Black Badger. It turned out to be soft with almost no scritch at all. It easily loaded up my dollop of Proraso Blue in under 5 seconds and did a great job face lathering. I had an amazing shave with the Red Tip and the 7 O’Clock Black, as close and smooth as you could ask for. I finished with Shulton Old Spice.
