I don't travel much at all, except for vacation. When I do, this is my usual travel kit:

* Weber DLC + Weber Bulldog handle (I don't want to risk losing my UFO handles)
* Super Iridiums
* Frank Shaving synthetic (dries very quickly)
* Mystic Water Bay Rum shave-stick
* Unrefined Shea Butter

(Old picture - brush changed out, alum added)
- Travel sized bottle of Dr Bronners soap
- Merkur 985CL open comb travel razor
- A pack of Wilkinson Sword blades
- Omega 50014 travel boar
- Lea Shave stick
- Travel sized bottle of Krampert's Finest Bay Rum
- Travel sized alum stick
Since I sometimes have to go places without too much warning.. it lives in the GoBag.

19mm Muhle v1 synthetic, Speick stick, a vial of Lucky Tiger Face Tonic, an Aristocrat Junior and a British NEW.

The Muhle is soon to be replaced by a Whipped Dog silvertip (20/47 knot), as I'm becoming increasingly aware of 'prickle' and I didn't think much of the v2 STF I had, but it'll likely be retained for camping/hiking trips.

I don't have a set travel kit as I'll take different items, but the one consistent item is a synthetic brush. Just much easier with how quickly they dry.

Currently, I travel with the following:

Razor/blade: GEM 1912 (shorty script handle) with GEM PTFE-coated SS blades or Personna dual blade disposable (if I need to carry on a plane)
Brush: Omega 40033; a great backbone-ful boar lathers anything easily and takes up little space
Soap: La Toja stick; great soap and travels well in the stock packaging
Aftershave: Krampert's Finest; the very best
ASB: Unrefined Shea butter; ditto. Also serves as a daily lip balm.

We'll be hitting the vacation trail this summer for a week away. We're checking bags so I'll be packing blades this time. Did carry on last trip, so I mailed a 10 pack of blades to my friends in NC. Now I have a reason to visit - gotta use up those razor blades! Biggrin

Here's my current travel setup:

Merkur head with Weber bulldog handle
tuck of IP blades
(packed in an) ASW tan cordura pouch
CH2 synth in travel tube
Latha unscented shave soap
Thayers witch hazel
unrefined shea butter

Look out Sonoma, here I come!

La Toja stick
Berkeley 46 in homemade travel tube
Variant (check in) or MR3 Neo (carry on -- this is a new addition)
Tuck of GSBs
PdP Balm

All packed up in the dopp with a few other things.  I diagrammed that setup a few months back in this thread...

Have a great trip.  Sonoma is beautiful this time of year!

Thanks, Tom. It'll be my first trip to California. Did Seattle and the NW passage a couple of years ago. That was great, but I'm super psyched for wine country!

I just ordered one of these, it'll be interesting to see how you like it. It's been years since I've used a cart - but they make carry-on flying a breeze.

I've modified mine since I posted this 3 years ago.  Currently it is:

Gillette Sensor
Muhle synthetic brush, medium size, carried in a plastic pill bottle
Harris shaving soap stick
Aqua Velva Original Ice Blue aftershave decanted into a 60 ml bottle
Styptic pencil
