I guess Penahaligon's shaving creams in glass jars are becoming collector items. A Blenheim Bouquet just sold on eBay for $86.00, and an English Fern (which I've never seen before) sold for $129.57.

The cream is good but not that good!

Although I can understand if a collector wanted them as a collector...

Wow! I just can't get over how expensive some of these soaps and creams can get! Good thing there are so many great, new artisan soaps! Biggrin

Most of the creams have not been available in jars for a long time. The only one that has been sold in a jar fairly recently, so far as I know, was the Blenheim Bouquet, and I don't think it is stocked in the jar any more either.

I was wondering the same thing. I have a jar of BB and love it.
For a soap guy its odd how I covet my AdP, BB, Trafalgar and St James creams.

I have some old Lords in jars, but fortunately I paid about what the recent BB jars were commanding on the ShopLondons site, not these eBay prices.

I recently bought my BB jar from Brummel's of London for £38 + £2.90p&p and it arrived the next day. The website says that economy delivery to the states starts from £7.95, which google exchange rate equals around $77 delivered to the US. They only stocked the BB jar.

It's in stock here,

I hope it isn't against the rules to post a hyperlink, if so please delete it. Smile

I wish Pen's would offer English Fern as a cream.
