No doubt he led a good life and did many, many things for youth, especially in the San Diego area. But, if he did take his own life, that's the worst example I can think of.

I feel really sorry for his mother.

I agree, it's getting way too easy in their mind sets. Seldom do they think about the lives they affect.

I think he had attempted suicide once before in 2010. It is a real shame nothing could be done.

I read that some of the NFL player suicides (there have been several in the past few years) may be traced to the consistent head trauma/concussions they incur, leading to depression. Very sad no matter the cause...

I was never a Chargers/Pats fan but loved watching Junior Seau play the game. What a great athlete and a damn shame.
