I know Rooney sold these a while back and M&F has produced a few, and I'm hoping to get my hands on one.

I got this image through Google Search. It was originally posted by TeeItUp418Holes.

The Brush in Brandon's picture is a 3XL. I contacted Lee with a similar request to what you are asking for in your ad and he responded by saying the only thing he had left in stock was the 3XL. I picked one up and I am quite happy with it! What's my point? I am not sure if there are very many tortoise belted 2XL's out there. Come to think of it the only brushes I've seen with the Tortoise belt are the current M&F 3XL's and the older Rooney regular Stubby series in 3-band.

So basically I am not sure if what you are looking for actually exists or not but I am only speculating and hopefully some other members can shed some light on the situation.

I've only seen the M&F 3XLs offered with the ivory/tortoise combination.

I would imagine there are only a handful of these out in circulation, too.

Lee has said that he can make the 2XL when he gets the material to make it again.

I also have the 3XL being made by him as of Tuesday Smile Paid for this morning.

I love my Stubby 3, Chief and 1XL, so I'm hoping the 3XL isn't way too big. How is the handle in relation to the Stubby 3?

I cannot compare it to a stubby but ....

The 3XL handle is the same basic diameter as a Chubby 2 but taller. It feels great in my hand, but I still prefer the 2XL size overall.

That's what I'm afraid of, but I also wouldn't mind having a 3xl and 2xl with the same handle. You never know what you'll prefer.

I love using my friend's 2xl whenever he lets it out of his sight.

I prefer the handle of the 3XL to the 2XL.

This 3XL rules as King over the other loyal 2XL subjects in my den. It's not overwhelming in the least bit and I happen to enjoy it's slightly larger sized handle over the 2XL a tad more. The 3XL in Heritage 2 band hair, is indulgence at its finest. Enjoy!

My exact reason for recently selling my 3XL. The Chubby 2 is perfect for me, in both diameter and height. The height of the 3XL just didn't feel comfortable in my hands.

Your 3XL turned out lovely and the knot looks fantastic! How do you ultimately feel about the size, now that it's your possession and have had an opportunity to use it?

I really thought it would be way too big, but the brush is still in the usable range. Certainly at the largest I would comfortably go. The hair pack isn't super dense and packed in compared to my 1xl, but that may be because it has more splay than the 1xl has. I don't regret the decision to pick the 3xl at all even though I tend to prefer 23mm-25mm brushes. The splay circumference is substantial which leads to a hard time getting under the nose, but the issue is so minor and it is something that can be solved with adaptation.

The handle is the only part that is on the edge of uncomfortable, but, again, this can be attributed to my preference for 23-25mm knots and the handles that go with them.

The hair is beyond wonderful. All the scrub you could want but zero scritch to be found. The Heritage hair glides with a sense of pressure but comfortable pressure. I was expecting a lather hog from my experience with a friend's new 2xl. That particular brush took a good number of uses before it started to release lather that had been built up and stored. Lee must have removed just a touch of the density to give good lather spread from the very first use.

I'm eagerly awaiting him getting the materials in for this same brush but in 2xl packaging.
