My wife and I are going to Florence, Italy to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary next week. Any suggestions about Italian shaving supplies or toiletries that I should buy?

Thanks.

Gotta say I didn't find much shaving gear while in Italy-except tremendous people and exquisite food

Maybe Proraso costs less there. Their various items have received pretty good reviews. Be sure to see Michelangelo's David in the Uffizi gallery!

Whilst there Bert, you and your wife might like a visit to: Santa Maria Novella they have a retail shop in fabulous buiding. They also have a small museum, well worth the visit.

Another great italian product is : The house of " Boellis " their Panama 1924 shaving soap is an all time favourite, sadly not in Forence.......

Not shaving related but you should definitely visit Lorenzo Villoresi's Atelier:

and get yourself a unique perfume (I love the Piper Nigrum).

Yes Proraso is in every supermarket and is cheap.

Definitely stop by Villoresi - also try the Uomo, Sandalo... basically their men's fragrance line is really good.
