Three months ago I bought a Hamilton Beach single serve coffee maker called "The Scoop". I still love it. This coffee maker is the best single serve you can own. I use to own a Keurig machine, for 5 years in fact but I was never that impressed with the coffee. One night I saw a TV ad for The Scoop and I went to Target the next day and bought one.
It makes the coffee in about 3 minutes and you can control how it taste unlike the Keurig. Only 3 little parts to wash. Easy to clean. If anyone is looking for a single serve coffee maker that makes GREAT coffee, this is it. Hamilton Beach "The Scoop" model 49981. You won't be sorry.

I use an H2JO filter and brew straight into my Klean Kanteen bottle...and off I go with a bottle of piping hot and fresh coffee in my bag. Love it ;-)

Does it accept K-Cups and loose coffee.

It just accepts loose coffee. To me there is no good reason to use the K-cups. The coffee is just bad.

K-Cups are manufactured not only by Green Mountain but many other premium coffee makers. We find most to be excellent.

I find the little plastic cups kind of kills the taste. If you don't like flavored coffee you don't have much of a choice. If you take away the flavored blends and the breakfast blends (too mild) I found that only one left was the Donut Shop coffee brand to choose from. They have regular coffee.

I've had one for about 6 months after having both a Keurig/Tassimo and I echo the OP. I actually just suggested it in a recent thread.

We are talking about single serve coffee makers such as the Keurig type. The Keuriq works just fine but the coffee taste lousy.

No, I beg to differ, there are lots of different blends of coffee for the Keurig, Starbucks blends are pretty good

Every coffee they sell are flavored. You cannot buy just regular coffee except the 'donut shop' brand. But they all taste like flavored piss.

I'll need to check this out.

I don't drink too much coffee. When I do, however, I prefer quality coffee over the junk most stores sell.

Most places sell it for $49.95. It will use any size cup. You can flip the stand so that an average size cup works well. Here is a nice ad for it on Hamilton Beach site:
