Alright, whats your favorite shea butter soap/cream ? I've only tried the Van Der Hagen and I love the way my face felt afterwards and would like to try some more!

How do you like the Institut Karite and the Provence? I tried the mystic water, and i'll be honest I couldn;t get it to lather too well, I just read celestino's post on it and might have another go at it.

* Joshua, I am not sure where you are located in Florida, but Mel (warhawk) a member here, is also in Florida and he has no issues with Mystic Water. I wonder if you lads share similar type of water. My offer is also open to receiving more water from other parts of the world. Smile

Performance of both soaps is excellent, easily lathered, with great post-shave feel. The only issue I can see is with scent. IK has a very powdery scent that some don't like. PS is great to my nose, and it also comes in a verbena (verveine) scented version as well.

Stirling, Mikes and Mystic Water all use shea butter and are magnificent..although Mystic Water can be rough to lather.

Pre de Provence. It's in my top soap category period. MWF, Tabac, DR Harris Lavender, and PdP.
I love the way my face feels afterwards and I've been thinking of getting some shea butter to use after all my shaves.

Provence Sante Verlaine
RazoRock karite line (I have the King Louis Lavender, it's great stuff.)
Barrister & Mann soaps are also excellent.

I have and enjoy some others. Proraso Red, Mystic Water, Strop Shoppe.

My soaps have Shea as well, but I'll leave it as an exercise for the users to rate their usefulness.

I love to hear about soaps and their respective attributes. Is it possible to get more in depth about how it made you face feel great?

Ex: I think the shea leaves my skin softer/closer shave/not tight/moisturized... just a bit more information to go on Lightbulb

as I have been experimenting with soaps and am very interested in your opinions Smile

GreenShave makes an excellent Shea butter cream.
I use Shea products frequently... They leave my face smooth and moisturized.

For me, my skin feels softer and smoother after using the soaps with shea butter than a similarly good shave without. It does an excellent job as an emollient, keeping the skin nice and hydrated.
