I really love lime soaps and creams. For some stupid reason I traded away my T&H and am without. Wondering what the consensus might be on my next lime adventure. Cream or soap it doesn't matter. I've seen captains choice pop up and HTGAM, but what is the golden standard all others try to reach.

The HTGAM Lime is quite nice as is Mystic Water Lime.

I found HTGAM's Lime a little too candy-ish for my tastes. I really like Mike's Lime. RazoRock KotC Lime isn't bad either, but a little too faint.

Mystic Water Lime is really nice, and the scent strength stays through the life of the puck.

For creams I like Trumper's. It's got a little floral overtone to it, though; it is not a straight lime scent like the Mystic Water soap.

You would be remiss if you did not give Castle Forbes Lime some consideration.

CF Lime fragrance is very nice indeed. Performance is good but not great IMO.

Hopefully you mean you traded for Castle Forbes Lime, easily the best IMO… and seems like the clear winner on this thread (and abroad).

I'll be the voice of dissent on the Castle Forbes recommendation. I'm a huge lime fan, but I think the scent of Castle Forbes, described by many as a pure lime, has a slightly weird undertone that's difficult to describe.

There's a bit of a shoe-polish undertone to the scent, to my nose. If you've ever polished your shoes using an old-fashioned shoe polish, you'll know the scent I'm talking about.

I know noses are different, and people's perceptions of scents can be different, and a lot of guys LOVE the scent of CF lime. Even to my nose, the lime scent predominates. But lingering just below the lime is that shoe-polish scent, for me.

I don't get that with Mystic Water lime at all, which is why it's my favorite lime scent.

CF smells fake to me, like plastic grocery store lime. Stirling gives you that fresh sliced lime scent, Rod nailed this one.

Vulfix Sicilian Limes is a great lime scented cream.

It's every bit as good as T&H West Indian Limes.

I agree with the comments above regarding CF Lime - it really was a big disappointment when I tried some.

I read earlier tonight that TOBS are now selling a Lime soap. I've not tried it but if it's anywhere near as good as their other soaps it could be an awesome choice.

Mike's is the best Lime scent I've encountered. If CF Lime is anything like CF Lavender I suspect it would be a great scent as well.
