Those are really nice, old, blades. I've always had a soft spot for the John Barber blades, and that large one is cool too.

Nice pickup. They should clean up well.

Three very nice blades, If the GB Anchor was mine I would send it to Max Sprecher for a regrind and total restore including new horn scales, it could look spectacular but I know there are those who would want to keep it as original as possible but that's your call.

Put me in the 'leave it original' camp. The flatness on the spine looks to be original too, and not a result of hone wear.

However, these are meant to be used, so do what you need to make sure that it is used.

VERY sweet finds!

Judging by the pics, the horn scales on both the Barber and GB Anchor look to be in very nice condition (no cracks, no de-lamination, and very few worm holes) -- they should polish up to a really nice sheen.

Those are amazing finds, especially the Great Britain. Those go for very high prices. The Dodge edge may lose some metal once you clean it up and try to hone it, but it looks like you'll still have enough width left to make it worth it.

Definitely, just clean up the Great Britain, hone and shave. Polish the scales as well and you're good to go. Later you could put on some new scales, if it bothers you to have flea bitten ones. Luckily they aren't celluloid. If they were celluloid and in bad shape, you'd definitely want to get rid of them.
