I've been wet-shaving only about a month and a half and will never go back to any other sort of shaving. I have even shaved off my goatee now! I guess I just got carried away with it.

I'm in Grand Rapids, Michigan but grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. (You know how we Texans are, doesn't matter where we are... we're always Texans and the Lone Star State is always home.)

Welcome to The Shave Nook.

I understand your situation. I lived 40 years in the DFW area before moving to Wisconsin in 1989. When my son was six, if you asked him where he lived he would say, Wausau, Wisconsin-TEXAS.

But I am proudly a OU Sooner fan. Smile

Have you noticed that everywhere you go there is always a Texas Township or Texas Street or something like that? Almost makes me feel like I'm home.

Some of my friends from high school asking what I thought about living up north. I told him I don't. I live in Texas. They said no no no you Live up in Michigan. To which I replied, "Nope. My house is the local Embassy of the Republic of Texas, and therefore it is sovereign Texas soil." That always leaves him with a grin. Biggrin

Amen Padre, Amen. I was born and raised in the Texas Hill country. Families still there but I have transplanted myself to Georgia.

Welcome to the wonderful journey that is Wetshaving!
