Has anyone ever tried Viking blades? Apparently, they're made in the same factory as the Israeli Personna blades. They are definitely affordable. I used one this morning and found it to be very smooth. Maybe not the sharpest blade but certainly sharp enough.

The Israeli Viking Swords are a very good blade and fall into that "Best Bang for the Buck" category. I have used several and have gotten 4 good, close, smooth shaves each time.

Those are the ones. I really like that blade and the price was more than reasonable. Definitely not the best blade I have used but for the money I would buy them again.

I like them so much I bought 100 of them. Always a smooth, comfortable and close shave when I use them. What more could you ask for?

There was also an older Viking brand, apparently made by Wilkinson Sword, then still in England, as a less expensive sub-brand. Squire did a test of these on ShaveMyFace and found them to be pretty decent.

I get them from "liorfe" in Israel on ebay: $16.20/100 shipped or $5.90/20 shipped.

With a name like that I NEED some... are they carried in any webshops? I don't have - nor do I want - an account with eBay... I would buy way too much stuff there if I did Tongue
