As I get more and more pulled in by these wonderful Italian croaps and soaps I'm curious to hear what other, more experienced, users have 'settled' on as their number one/favorite w/in this category.

So far I've tried;
- Cella,
- 3P, and
- PannaCrema

and absolutely love them all (fantastic lather and great scents (even though Cella is a tad too candy-smelling for my nose)).

So if you could only pick ONE of all the ones YOU have tried..which one would it be and why?

3p is the better almond odor form cella. Not Candy like.

I tend to face lather so maybe that makes the scent more apparent to me than if I would build the lather in a bowl?

That was actually my conclusion as well when it comes to 3P vs Cella.
I did find Cella to lather just a bit 'better' than 3P (but both are most excellent). Between the two..so far...I'd pick 3P due to the more 'mature' Almond scent.

So I take it 3P is your favorite of them all? Smile

Of the Almond scented Italian soaps my favorite is Boellis Panama 1924. Great lather, slick, good cushion, and a more natural almond scent. Not to strong.

But my favorite Italian soap is Santa Maria Novella.

A big +1 for SMN both old and new formula.

I've also acquired some P.160 which is pretty darn good too.

For me, the original Antica Barbieria Colla Bitter Almond Shaving Soap. Amazing lather. Also, 3P. I picked up a tub recently and am enjoying it very much. I prefer both of these over Cella, Valobra, and P160.

Hard to say "number one" for me as that depends on how I'm feeling that day....but to add something new that hasn't been mentioned in this thread, I'll mention the RazoRock croaps. I have several, and I particularly enjoy XX, Son of Zeus, Christmas in Tuscany, and XXX-T.

Proraso White (although the Green and Red aren't too shabby).

Great performance, nice scent, inexpensive, and widely available. The matching pre and aftershave only enhance its value.

I love Panna Crema, Valobra Menthol and XPEC. Of all these - PC performs the best for me.

Boellis Panama 1924 is by far my favorite Italian soap. It easily produces a wonderfully rich, thick, cushiony, slick lather that leaves your face feeling great after the shave. The almond scent is very natural and light.

I know it's "new school", but I also have to go with RazoRock, make it - Mudder Focker Heart

Basically all mentioned in this thread are TOP soaps IMO, and would gladly use any mentioned on a given daySmile

My previous favorite was P160, but just nudging it out of the top spot is ABCBA. But when price is considered it's P160 hands down.
