Picked up a tub of Barbiere di Figaoro (Raffinato) at Pasteurs last week. Tried it for the first time tonight. My take:

Scent - Strong almond scent, I really liked it, scent stays with you but not too strong

Lather - Used about an almond size amount in a scuttle. Was very easy to build a thick, creamy lather after 30-45 secs. I used a Boar Brush soaked in hot water prior to lather.

Shave - Whiskers came right off with my Muhle R41 utilizing a Feather. Lather stayed moist and slick during entire 3 pass shave. Good protective properties, cream stayed consistent.

Moisturizing Properties - Good, two hours after my shave, my skin feels very good and moist

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. Cost was $9 for a 200 ml tub. I really like the scent and overall feel it is a quality product.

Anyone else try a Barbiere cream - Thoughts?

I just finished off a tub of the Esclusivo scent and I agree with all your points. I loaded from the tub and and face lathered, but it was still very easy to build a thick lather. Protection and skin care were also very good.

BdF soaps are excellent, as well as the typical Tcheon Fung Sing line of soaps. I'm not a scent guy but they are great performers.
