I just wanted to give a shout out to Mike's Natural Soaps. I used the peppermint this morning. I have a number of different soaps but Mike's always seems to give me the best cushion and the best shave. YMMV

+1 Mike's lather is unique, it's like a supremely cushioned, super slick meringue, very light.

I enjoy a variety of soaps, but if I've ever had a less than ideal shave, I always know that I can reach for Mike's to turn things around. I recently purchased a Cobra, and experienced some degree of trepidation prior to my first shave. I chose Mike's Lemongrass & Eucalyptus as it seems to be the one soap that always produces the best cushion and slickness for me, and I experienced the best shave of my life.

I like his orange, cedarwood and black pepper scent and his pine and cedarwood scent. He has a knack for using cedar well. Ive tried many of his other soaps and to be honest those are the only 2 ive stuck with and the main reason truly is the scents. I love them.

One of my all time favorite soaps is Mike's Rose & Cedarwood, both on scent and performance. Perfection in a tin Biggrin

Mike's and I had a severe love hate relationship. It was like that girl I kept going back to even though it was so bad for me.

One day, I'd reach the mountaintop of shaves with Mike's. The next day, trying to replicate, I'd sink in the quicksand of an impossible lather. Booo.

I gave up on Mike's. I do not argue with the quality of the product and his scents are probably the best I have smelled.

Mike's is incredible. So many good artisans out there, but Mike's and Jabonman are my two favorite artisans.

Love Mike's too! My first try with his BayRum was only so-so. I had a difficult time lathering it up. It was foamy and didn't lather or keep well. So I relegated it to the bottom of pile.

Fast forward, and retry...(I'll always give a 2d, 3rd, 4th chance)...I love, love, love the scent, and love, love the lather and protection on my face.

The scent is powerful during your shave. It fills the bathroom! But then steps into the background after you are done, so you have either a very faint subtle lingering scent for the rest of the day, or it disappears into your preferred after-shave if you are so inclined.

The lather was a good, took a little work like MWF, but the shave was great. The protection and lubrication on my face is right up there at the top.

After shave was terrific too. It leaves your face feeling moisturized, and cool.

This is a new favorite...oh and my boyfriend loved the smell in the bathroom too!

Do all the different scents perform equally? This is another soap I'm going to have to give a try.

Mike's Hungarian Lavender will always be in my rotation, and is perhaps the only artisan soap I would keep if I had to drop down to 4 or 5 total soaps (as in when the shavepocolypse happens).
