Interesting videoclip starting off with the host stating how much he hates shaving....

Too bad Corey had the angle wrong and was basically scraping with the bottom of the edge. And the lather could have been much thicker, if he wanted.

Not as terrible as I thought it was going to be. Of course it was for the TV show and demonstration only. So I'll cut him some slack. He did the best he could with minimal time.

OK, now for picking nits... Really? The straight razor is the king of razors and gives a better shave than a safety razor... really? I don't think so. It certainly can if one stacks the deck with a mild safety razor and a crappy blade, but the converse can also happen with a less than optimum str8 and a really aggressive safety razor with a sharp smooth blade. I have never heard of anyone getting a better shave from a professional str8 wielding barber than they can deliver by their own hands with a safety razor. More pampered, maybe, but a better shave? I have never heard of it.

I actually think Corey did a great job presenting a lot of info in those few minutes. Hopefully it roped in some new wet shaving converts Smile

I found that video clip while searching about shave creams about 6 years ago, and it is reponsible for sending me down this rabbit hole.

The host of this show captured my feelings about shaving prior to my return to traditional wet shaving. I absolutely HATED shaving! Now I don't.

Charles Roberts might (will) disagree, but THIS pretty much restarted the wet shaving resurgence.

IMHO, Greenberg did a great job covering a good amount of info in a very short time spot.

He sure did! This video is more than adequate to introduce cart users to wet shaving in the time he had.

Any video that helps the cause to wet shaving is welcome. The only thing that was misleading was Corey saying that the HD razor cost $25.00 . Maybe 8 years ago but I got his point. Thank you for sharing.
