I've looked at a bunch of threads regarding this, but I'm confused. Ted Pellas vs Connaught. Are these the same blades? The ones from Connaught say that they are coated too. Anyone know the answer?

The way I understand it Ted Pella is not a blade manufacturer but rather a reseller. The blades would be the same (someone correct me if I'm wrong here) - and Connaught has the best price, even taking shipping into consideration.

Except for Feather and NOS, ASR makes all the SE blades regardless of brand, e.g. Treet. Your choice is stainless steel or carbon steel. They are both good blades. Try them both and pick the one that works best for you.

Connaught offers the PTFE coated SS blades only.

Pella offers the coated and non-coated versions.

Go with Connaught. No one is really competing with them on SE blade price.

Thanks. I purchased from Connaught and really liked the blades, but I wanted to make sure before I made a larger order.

I don't know about you guys, and I definitely understand "YMWV," but the Carbon Steele just are terrible for me.
