I was pretty sure that the "box in the basement" held a jar of RR with argan oil.

So, I spread the contents on the island. Not there. None. Not only no RR with argan oil, there's no RR at all. I knew I traded off most of the RR, but I wasn't aware that it was all gone.

So, in spite of my already "too much" soap stock, I'll be hunting a tub of Artisan series that has argan oil.

sigh

Argan Oil for scent or performance? You can do Moroccan Secret that has argan and tallow. It is very sweet smelling and pleasant. But The Lime and Lavender Montebianco King of The Castle Argan Oil are very nice. Also, XX is medium potency in strength but a light citrus and some say Mediterranean scent.

Argan oil for performance. I have some Tabula Rasa. It has argan oil and the after shave face feel is quite pleasing. I thought to give the RR a try.

How is that 1903? I can't remember the rest of the name, but I've heard excellent reviews of it.

-
Edit: It's "J. Peterman 1903 Concentrated Shaving Cream". From their website, it says: (…) “old woody fougère.” Clean citrus notes, bergamot, “green notes.” The middle notes: clary sage, cardamom. The dry-down: leather notes, smoky labdanum... elemi, tabac, frankincense.

I might have opened up a beast!!

It's highly scented. And it provides an excellent shave. It's for those days when I feel like "smelling a bit strong." lol

Thanks for the info, I might put this on my list!
Is there anything you can compare its performance to?

All the RR argan oil formula soaps are outstanding. Pick a scent and go for it.

I have XX and San Valentino. I love them both. The scents are completely different; the XX is a cologne scent with a lot of bergamot in it. The San Valentino is a powedery rose with a hint of lemon.

they are both outstanding soaps. Incredibly easy to lather.
