I have owned a Small Moss Scuttle for several years and finally decided to expand my scuttle collection. When I saw Eric (aka Songwind) post his wife's scuttles on the B/S/T I had to bite.

The Ladysea scuttle is a two piece scuttle and the lather bowl is large enough to whip up a great lather. It does a great job keeping the lather warm and also looks great in my 'Nook". Sorry for the poor quality photos...they were taken with my phone.

Phil, that is beautiful. Use it in the best of health.

By the way, I think your phone takes pretty decent photos. Smile

That looks good. Any thoughts on advantages/disadvantages of two-piece like this vs. one-pieces such as Moss?

The main advantage to me is that I can take the bowl out and lather with the bowl in my palm and then put it back in the scuttle when I have a sufficient amount of lather.

This scuttle seems to keep my lather warmer for longer than the Moss, although I am not sure why.

What are the sizes of the two bowls and what price range are they listed at? ( unless this is a trade secret )

I would have to measure them but the 2-piece scuttle was $45.00 shipped...quite a deal in my opinion.

Thank you Jerry...it is very nice. I might have a larger one made down the road a bit. This one is larger than my Moss scuttle but, I would like one larger yet.

Beautiful scuttle, Phil! That is a great price for it!
Somedays, i get tempted to go back to scuttling, can i say that, instead of face-lathering, but i guess i am addicted or have FLAD!!! Did i just create a new acronym for us to use?
Enjoy the scuttle!

That's guys. I believe that Songwind's wife is still taking requests for scuttles. Perhaps Eric can weigh in.

Sonya is still making scuttles and will be taking pre-orders in groups of 3. Her first batch is spoken for, but I'll be posting here is B/S/T as her "slots" open up.

Due to some unforeseen expenses, we will regrettably be increasing the price slightly to $40 plus shipping.

Its very nice! I do like the two piece I think it would be good to be able to lather with the bowl in your palm.

Beautiful scuttle! I certainly don't need another, but must feed my AD (and can justify since all of mine are one piece), any chance of shipping to Australia...?

We could ship to Australia, but I have no idea what it would cost. I'll look into it.
