These are from more than a few years ago now and I parted with all of them as despite the great handles I'm not fan of Pure - too scratchy!

Nice photo, Ben. You never see discussion of Rooney brushes in Pure or Best, though Classic Shaving has carried both in the past.

Those are awesome...it's true though, wrong hair grade IMO, otherwise they'd all have been keepers for me!

I love that handle, I have a Rooney 3/1. I'd keep the one on the right. The hair grade doesn't bother me at all.

I had the Woodstock in Best and it too was too scratchy for me. I can only imaging how irritating the Pure would be to my sensitive skin!

I've got the two on the left and have seen the one on the right but not the pink and yellow one. Very nice, Ben.

The 2 remaining are very nice indeed, plus they look like silvertips Angel compared to the OP top 4...
to me what's pretty eye capturing how the pink/yellow one when finished has almost all the lines moving right to 1 point, pretty neat how they lathe'ed it to that orientation.. great stuff as always.

I'm lucky I guess. Never had sensitive skin, never get razor burn, rash whatever and hair grade makes no difference to me. I mean, I can tell the difference, but none of them "bother" me.
As the kids today say "it's all good".
isn't that today? maybe it was the nineties, I'm so old.
