Time to introduce myself.
I have been lurking around this forum for a few months, and thought that its about time to start contributing as well.

I have been using cartridge razors since I started shaving (buying whatever new version Gillette released), and always seeing it as a must-do rather than a want-to-do.
About 5 moths ago I decided to find a better razor, so I started reading reviews on the internet to find a cartridge razor that was better than the current Gillette. However the Gillette didn't really seem to have a contender that was worth trying, but eventually I stumbled on to some posts regarding safety razors.
This opened up a whole new world for me.

I did a little scan on the internet and decided to buy a Bluebeards Revenge Scimitar (I read a couple reviews and the name was cool) plus some different blades.
I looked through some youtube vids to understand the technique and from my first shave (very carefull WTG shall be said) I was blown away. Best shave I ever had, and with no iritation.

From this point I started plowing through the internet on the whole wetshaving experience, and I found the art of lathering (and brushes in particular). Finding the different brushes changed the economical part of wet shaving for me. A serious case of RAD had been obtained.
Recently received a custom Brush, but will post that one in the brush section.
At this time I had only found the "normal" chrome plated razors, and even though I had already realized I would buy one or two more (with prices of 35-70€) it wouldn't have any real financial impact. And then I discovered Stainless Steel razors...
Been using a new SS razor the last week, will post that in the razor section shortly.

I didn't start wet shaving to save money, but it was an appealing aspect. Safe to say that it won't be.
Not that I mind though, I am getting great shaves and have a new hobby.
I am looking forward to every shave.
